Police search for two on drug charges

Published October 16, 2009

Two people are wanted by police in connection with meth lab found at a local motel in Scottsboro last week.

Jason Kim Hensley, 32, of New Market, and Kimberly Bodrey Jones, 40, of Gurley, are both wanted for the attempt to commit a controlled substance crime.

Scottsboro detective Chris Kirby said a search warrant was obtained after officers smelled the odor of the production of meth in a room at the motel after receiving information.

“We found several items consistent with the making of meth,” Kirby said.

Hensley and Jones were not present at the time. They are thought to be in Jackson, Marshall or Madison counties.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact Chris Kirby with the Scottsboro Police Deparment at 574-4468, Ext. 339.
