One person was critically injured in a one-vehicle accident on Alabama Highway 40 at 2:09 p.m. Sunday, according to Alabama State Troopers.
Investigating State Trooper Wes Corbitt said William Winters of Henagar was airlifted from the wreck site to Huntsville Hospital by Medflight of Huntsville.
A spokesperson at the hospital said Monday that Winters was listed in critical condition in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
